Can Airbnb reprint a receipt?

In many cases yes — bring the card you paid with and the approximate date to the customer-service desk, and staff can often locate the transaction in the register system. Go to Trips → select the stay → receipts and VAT invoices are downloadable per reservation, indefinitely. Reprint availability and time limits depend on the store's point-of-sale system, so the sooner you ask after the purchase, the better.

Is it legal to recreate a Airbnb receipt?

Recreating a receipt for a real purchase — for your records, an expense report or replacing a lost copy — is legitimate. Using a fabricated receipt to deceive anyone is not.

How to Get a Copy of Your Airbnb Receipt

Need another copy of a Airbnb receipt for an expense report or your records? Here are the fastest ways to get one.

Ways to get a duplicate Airbnb receipt

1In store: take your payment card and the approximate date to the Airbnb customer-service desk and ask for a receipt reprint.
2Go to Trips → select the stay → receipts and VAT invoices are downloadable per reservation, indefinitely.
3Resend the email receipt: if you provided an email at checkout, search your inbox for the Airbnb order confirmation and re-download it.

Need a copy for your own records? If Airbnb cannot retrieve the original, you can rebuild one from what you remember — items, prices, date and store details. Open the Airbnb receipt builder.
